Pilning & Severn Beach Parish Council was delighted to attend Severn Beach Primary School’s Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly to celebrate the Class of 2026.

The assembly was filled with happy memories as pupils reflected on their time at the school, shared stories from trips and activities, and looked back at how much they had grown.

As part of the celebrations, Parish Council Chair Victoria Bywater presented the Council’s annual Achievement Awards to Joey and Ryleigh.

Joey was recognised for his exemplary behaviour, strong work ethic and remarkable progress. He has grown significantly in confidence and competence and is a positive role model to others.

Ryleigh was recognised for her bright and bubbly personality, respectful and considerate nature, and excellent academic progress. She is dependable, eager to help and a superb ambassador for the school.

Victoria Bywater said:

“It was a privilege to join the school for such a special occasion. Congratulations to Joey and Ryleigh, and to all of the Year 6 pupils. We wish them every success and happiness as they move on to secondary school.”

The Parish Council congratulates all of the Year 6 leavers and thanks the staff and families who have supported them throughout their time at the school.
