Changes to the Number 12 Bus Service: Bristol Parkway – Severn Beach (from 30 August)
Stagecoach has confirmed a series of timetable and routing changes to the Number 12 service operating between Bristol Parkway Station and Severn Beach
Key Changes Effective After 30 August
1. Revised Timetable
The timetable has been updated to reflect operational changes and to improve reliability across the route. Passengers are advised to check the new departure times before travelling, as several journeys have been adjusted.
2. New Operating Pattern for Some Severn Beach‑Bound Journeys
A notable change affects certain services travelling towards Severn Beach:
– These journeys will start at Bristol Parkway Station.
– They will then serve Parkway North Park & Ride, providing an additional connection for commuters and visitors.
– After serving the Park & Ride, the bus will return to Bristol Parkway Station.
– The service will then continue its usual route onwards to Severn Beach.
This loop is designed to improve access to the Park & Ride facility while maintaining the established link between Parkway and Severn Beach.
What This Means for Passengers
– Check departure times: Some journeys may leave earlier or later than before.
– Parkway North Park & Ride users will benefit from new direct links to Severn Beach and intermediate villages.
– Connections at Bristol Parkway Station remain unchanged, with additional flexibility for those joining the service from the station forecourt.
