The Chair of Pilning and Severn Beach Parish Council, Victoria Bywater, was delighted to attend the Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly at St Peter’s Primary School in Pilning.

Led by Mr Smith, the assembly brought together the whole school, with parents and families of the Year 6 pupils also in attendance. The children shared memories from their time at St Peter’s, entertained everyone with performances, songs and comedy, and reflected on the friendships and experiences they will take with them as they move on to secondary school.

On behalf of the Parish Council, Victoria presented two special prizes to Amelie and Saul. Amelie was recognised for her hard work, determination and the support she gives to her friends, while Saul received an award for his exemplary behaviour, kindness and consideration for others.

The Parish Council warmly congratulates Amelie, Saul and all of the Year 6 pupils and wishes them every success and happiness as they begin the next stage of their education.
