Local bus campaigners welcome the return and improvement of several services.

After several years of work by community representatives and residents, a number of bus services have now been confirmed on three‑year contracts. This provides greater certainty for people who rely on buses for work, school, health appointments, shopping, and daily travel.

Parents who have been seeking a reliable school‑run connection from Severn Beach to Castle School will be reassured that the Y2C will now operate this route as a regular service, replacing the 918. This secures the route for at least three years and brings it under standard fare arrangements.
